Allison and Kelly – July 11, 2010
July 26, 2010

Once again, Bryan and I got to go to a wedding!  The day after Ben and Tracy’s wedding, Kelly and Allison wed in her parents back yard.  They went with a tropical theme that fit the couple perfectly.  It was fun to get together with friends and celebrate their wedding.  Kelly’s aunt took a few pictures and she is allowing me to share them with you!  She is out of North Carolina and her website is for any  brides that may be interested 🙂  Here are a few of my favorite shots.

I hope Kelly and Allison have had a great first week as husband and wife 🙂

Rachael and Steve – June 20, 2010
July 21, 2010

Another friend’s wedding!!!

Rachael and Steve got married in Harrisonburg, Virginia at JMU where the couple went to college.  We went up for the weekend and had a great time celebrating their big day.  The ceremony took place at the Arboretum on campus and then the reception was in the Montpelier Room right down the street.  We had a great dinner, some purple icecream, and then danced the evening away 🙂  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Rachael and Steve’s big day!

Tracy and Ben- July 10, 2010
July 20, 2010

I had the pleasure of coordinating Tracy and Ben’s wedding day on Saturday, July 10.  Tracy did a wonderful job coming up with her color scheme (green, purple, and ivory) and keeping everything organized until the day of.  They were married at Monumental United Methodist Church in Portsmouth, VA (beautiful by the way) and had their reception in the attic banquet hall at Waterman’s down at the ocean front.  After their “first look” and awesome timeline with lots of extra photography time, everything went exactly as planned (and the rain held off all evening!).  Here are a few of my favorite shots (thanks to Andi Grant

Tracy and Ben during their “first look” photo session – Favorite thing number 1!

Isn’t this such a snazzy photo!  I loved her purple shoes 🙂

The colors…and flowers…favorite thing number 2!  I also loved that Ben had a “groomsgirl” Emily (who I used to work with back in high school….small world!).  She wore the same bridesmaid dress but in black…how adorable.

Birdcage veil…favorite thing #3!  Tracy looked stunning 🙂

What a beautiful couple!

Thanks Ben and Tracy for letting me be a part of your wedding day.  I had a great time!

Jon and Jenny’s Wedding-July 16, 2010
July 19, 2010

This summer has been filled with weddings!  Not only with those I coordinate, but full of friends getting married 🙂  I have been able to be a guest at several weddings this season and I thought I would do a little post on the wedding from this past Friday.  Jon and Jenny got married on the Norfolk Naval Base and it was beautiful!  I met them both right after they got engaged (which was on the top of Griffin…how awesome is that?!?).    Their wedding was filled with a lot of creative and unique things, from their recessional song to the Top Gun theme song (fitting for both military families), their “guest book” canvas that I wish I had snagged a picture of before my camera died, and their incorporation of a German tradition into their reception that turned out beautifully.  I am so glad I got to be a part of their special day!  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Friday evening.

The place cards with cake lollipops!

The bride and groom cutting the cake.

The German tradition of bringing the bride and groom a candle and wishing them the best!  It was very sweet and emotional for everyone 🙂

Bryan and I had a great time at the wedding.

Best wishes to Jon and Jenny who are enjoying their honeymoon in Jamaica!
